Meet the Instructor - Cheering Chen

Cheer Chen (Cheering) has various Australian degrees, including a first class honors degree in Mathematics. She has been in the management consulting and banking industries for over 15 years performing statistical and quantitative analyses.

Cheering is passionate about teaching, therefore as a hobby job, Cheering has spent 2 decades in the education industry.

Prior to joining Kumon, she has a wide range of experience in university tutoring and teaching at coaching institutions. Her students range from opportunity class placement test candidates, selective school and scholarship tests candidates, HSC students as well as university Mathematics students.

Cheering has spent the last 2 decades helping thousands of students to catch up and/or learn ahead. Her long-term experience in the Australian education market enables her to individualize the Kumon programs that meet the needs of students in different age groups, based on their aspirations, abilities and personalities.

Cheering is committed as a Kumon instructor to maximise the potential of each student, and to develop and nurture their self-learning skills.
